2016 has been a very good year for TEAM Brundage-Bone. Nearly all markets are now in full recovery and newly acquired businesses in Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama are fully integrated in our systems. We are now well positioned in the high growth markets across the US. To prepare to take advantage of growth opportunities, we have worked closely with Schwing, Putmeister, and Alliance to update and grow our fleet of concrete placing equipment to meet the market demands.
Internally we have added new TEAMMATES and repositioned others to more efficiently support and promote our operations. We will provide better reliability in the field, improved asset management, increased emphasis in employee recruitment and a new campaign to promote the many positive aspects of our business.
We will place approximately 10,000,000 cubic yards of concrete in 2016! With the volume of concrete that we place, and the abrasive nature of it; parts, service, and repair have required greater emphasis in our business. Randy Waterman is now focusing solely on these areas to ensure greater reliability and uptime of our fleet.
Mark Young is now in the Role of Asset Manager working closely with our COO and Regional Directors to ensure that all branches have the proper equipment to meet our customer demands.
Our Safety and Risk Management Manager Kyle Rask has added several members to his safety TEAM over the winter and has taken on the additional duties of employee recruitment and development. We are in the process of implementing new systems that will streamline the onboarding process and ongoing training at all levels of our business. Safety will always be our company’s number one priority!
Michael Jankovic has now joined the TEAM as our Marketing/Promotions Specialist. Michael will be working closely with our COO, Regional Directors, and Branch Managers to coordinate our efforts in promoting. We are already underway on exciting projects in our business through the company website, brundagebone.com, presentation material, and social media.
Economic forecasts look strong for the foreseeable future which will fuel growth for the business. We are currently working on several acquisitions that will increase our footprint and create opportunity for career growth within the business. We are also highly focused on attracting great new TEAMMATES to help support our growing business.
