Ford Theater

The Ford Theater in Hollywood Hills, California is an outdoor amphitheater just down the street from Universal Studios. This is another job where the contractor decided against using a free-standing placing boom. The site was nestled in a canyon which made it difficult for mixer trucks to get in and out. In order to minimize tip overs and other disasters, mud was poured pump-to-pump through a 20 meter which plugged in through a 28 meter.
