Brundage-Bone National Fleet Service

Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping (BBCP) is committed to supplying our customers with the most reliable concrete pumping equipment in the industry. With nearly 500 pieces of equipment nationwide, we make sure each branch has the right amount of machines and the proper sizes for their markets. Our equipment is constantly monitored leading to our extensive preventative maintenance program. We go above and beyond the call to ensure our reliability is at the highest level.
To ensure we are supplying our customers with the best possible concrete pump, Brundage-Bone sets a high standard on maintaining the equipment. Each week, our National Fleet Service collects detailed reports from each of our 60+ branches, showing the condition of each branch vehicle and pump. Our current status for readily available equipment on a daily basis stands at 98%. This is only achieved by having a companywide commitment to preventative maintenance. Catching and fixing issues prior to them happening is a big part of what keeps us ahead of everyone else.
Maintaining a high readiness rate is no small task. Each Brundage-Bone concrete pump goes through an extensive checklist of inspections at a standard set of truck hours. In most markets, this averages about every 2 months. We track the truck hours by GPS to make sure none of them slip through the cracks. If a pump is found to be in need of repairs, we work with our dispatch to schedule the down time to minimize the impact to our customers. Service vehicles are also sent to job sites to maintain equipment as needed.
Brundage-Bone also requires our concrete pump boom trucks to go through an extensive boom inspection two times each year. Brundage-Bone employees a team of highly trained boom inspectors to be able to keep up with the demand of inspecting our equipment. Our inspectors are trained by all of the top manufacturers, like Schwing and Putzmeister, to inspect and repair pumps based on the manufacturer’s standards. Our boom inspectors are also factory trained welders who are capable of welding structural components when needed. The manufacturers are included in any structural repairs to make sure the correct procedures are followed and to insure the pump trucks meet all safety requirements prior to pumping another job.
Our concrete pump operators go through a vigorous training program which is highly sought after by contractors. They are all required to be OSHA 10 certified and in some cases, must be MSHA trained as well, depending on the market. It is important to not only Brundage-Bone that our concrete pump operators are the safest and highest trained in the industry, but our customers as well. We look at each job site prior to pumping and mapping out the safest way to get the job done. When lives are at stake, we take no shortcuts. Brundage-Boneaims to minimize reliability errors and downed equipment so contractors can focus on their tasks. When we show up on your job site, the professionalism of our company is apparent in our equipment and our employees.
